The title of this blog comes from the word count OpenOffice just gave me. That means, for a novel with a target of 50,000 words, we just crept over the halfway mark. Yay, us!

I also went over 250 followers today, which means that each of you pretty much has 100 words dedicated to them. Congrats to @OValencia, my 250th follower -- you'll have a character based on you coming up shortly in the novel.

I'm having a lot of fun with this (I must be, I haven't taken a day off since I started!), and I'm grateful to all of you who have come along for the ride.
